Remodel of an existing restaurant located in a large plaza at Frank Llyod Wright and Pima just off the highway where the existing patio and entry faced the loud highway. Since the visibility from the highway is minimal the first direction was to reorient the patio and entry to face the plaza and all of the slower traffic following through. The interior was dark with divided spaces and no connection to the exterior. By adding the patio to the end of the building with full pocketing glass doors between adding more natural light, plants throughout, water features on the interior and exterior we sought to blur the lines of interior and exterior. The custom design interior pendant lighting, feature walls, bamboo formed concrete, bring the Asian fusion concept together in an open environment.
